What is RSD?

NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Association) mandated a 30% reduction in stopping distance for over the road heavy trucks and various specialty tractor applications, which went into full effect in August 2013.

How do I know if my vehicles have RSD brakes?

All over-the-road heavy trucks built after August 2011 are equipped with RSD brakes.

Do I need a special friction for these brakes?

For RSD brakes to perform as designed--and keep you in compliance with the RSD Mandate--you must reline with RSD Certified Friction.
